Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and following the measures imposed by government authorities, which include cancelling non-essential activities and restricting entry of non-residents to the territory, we confirm that Avishai Cohen Trio’s show scheduled on June 30 2020 at Théâtre Maisonneuve taking place during Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is postponed to June 29 2021 at Théâtre Maisonneuve as part of the 2021 edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.

Ticket holders are invited to keep their tickets. They will be honoured for the new date.

__________

Few journeys have been as adventurous and unpredictable as the musical one Avishai Cohen has led for more than twenty years. The vast discography of this beloved Israeli bassist and composer is marked by the constant evolution that defines this bandleader. His previous release 1970, his biggest commercial hit to date, introduced him to a pop-oriented audience that was mostly unaware of the richness of his repertoire. Last year, Avishai recorded his latest album titled Arvoles at the prestigious Nilento Studio in Sweden.
