Lambert

Lambert is an enigmatic star of Europe’s neoclassical scene, known since 2014 for constantly wearing a horned Sardinian mask. Prior to this incarnation, however, he was a dashing melodic improviser in the Bill Evans tradition, a jazz man to the core. In recent gigs, as he plays highly melodic, limpidly minimalist piano, attentive audiences can also discern the ghost of that old life in passages of assured improv.
