DVD David Clayton-Thomas Live in Montreal item E27, edition : 2009

Filmed on June 29th, 2006 during Le Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. From the opening salvo of the timeless Blood Sweat & Tears hit "And When I Die", through gripping renditions of Billie Holiday's "Don't Explain", and Jon Hendrick's be-bop classic "Gimme That Wine", David and his powerhouse eleven-piece orchestra deliver an exhilarating musical odyssey.  He pours out classics like "You've Made Me So Very Happy", "Spinning Wheel" and "Go Down Gambling" with the heartfelt vigor that has made him one of music's most respected vocalists.  When, at the end, David is joined on stage by the renowned Montreal Jubiliation Choir, the concert culminates with 55 performers belting out an electrifying "Hi De Ho", and an awestruck and thoroughly appreciative audience on their feet, clapping and singing in unision.
