DESCRIPTION:CHARLIE HADEN AVEC DON CHERRY ET ED BLACKWELL\n\nIn 1958, Omette Coleman recorded his first album, point of no return for a great musical revolution. That same year, he also left California and went to New York, followed by two of his collaborators: Charlie Haden and Don Cherry. Ed Blackwell, whose first meeting with Coleman goes back to 1951, at the time the father of free jazz was still an illustrious unknown, would also later on be a part of the Coleman adventure. In 1976, Haden, Cherry, and Blackwell recorded Old and New Dreams with Dewey Redman, the first of three albums they made together. Here they are, reunited in Montréal in 1989, with their old dreams and probably new ones as well.
