Celui-ci a réuni les meilleurs musiciens de studio afin de produire un son très contemporain. Denis Christianson a joué et enregistré avec Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, J.-J. Johnson, Hubert Laws, Don Ellis, etc. Une grande partie du répertoire a été écrite par un compositeur de Los Angeles peu connu : Curt Berg.
