DESCRIPTION:CHRIS POTTER NEW ACOUSTIC QUARTET\n(With Craig Taborn, Larry Grenadier and Eric Harland )\n\nA jazz prodigy, born multi-instrumentalist and improviser, Chris Potter has been amazing audiences and critics alike since 1989, when he was just 18! After honing his talents with the Mingus Big Band and in a variety of groups, including one under the leadership of Dave Holland, Potter has fashioned his own brilliant career as a bandleader since 2001. An artist who never ceases to astonish—and who changes groups practically every year—he now heads our way with his New Acoustic Quartet, assembling excellent musicians Craig Taborn (piano), Larry Grenadier (double bass) and Eric Harland (drums). We can’t wait!
