DESCRIPTION:CHRIS VELAN\n\nWell before coming here in 2006, Chris Velan toured the Republic of Guinea, visiting refugee camps for a documentary project on the group Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars. When he returned, all thoughts of a law career were ancient history! Since then, he’s covered Canada and the U.S., a one-man band with his guitar, his loop pedal, his folk reggae... and, 25 years after picking up the instrument, still no pick! P.S.
