Wanda Jackson

Truth be told, the Rolling Stones seem like teenaged boys next to Wanda Jackson! But never mind, this septuagenarian still has every ounce of her original passion! In 2009, legendary Wanda was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and justly so: one of the very first-if not THE first-female rock'n'roll singers, she often shared a bill with Elvis during the '50s, lived through the golden age of Las Vegas and was a smash in Japan with her hit Fujiyama Mama. And she's just released a single, You Know I'm No Good. A phemale phenomenon!

Frédéric Poulin
from Festival International de Jazz de Montréal will attend this concert:

The queen of rockabilly and Elvis’s ex-girlfriend: one of those very special shows where you can’t help but feel privileged to hear rockabilly classics sung by their original performer. Nostalgia and swing await: "Let's have a party tonight"!
