Gypsie Planet with Christian Escoudé, Marcel Azzola, Florin Niculescu, David Reinhardt, Darryl Hall and Jean-Baptiste Laya

Three guitars, one double bass, one accordion and one violin: five of the most brilliant musicians in the gypsy swing musette jazz universe lead by extraordinary guitarist Christian Escoudé, whom we heard alongside Biréli Lagrène at the 2006 Festival. Presented with an array of formats and collaborations certain to delight every taste, this performance -including an appearance by Django Reinhardt's grandson- is a showcase of rhythm and variety, a perfect tribute for the 100th anniversary of the birth of the grand master.
