Alice Russell with TM Juke

The newest Brit diva of the kingdom of soul comes to Montreal! Influenced by her choral background, Alice Russell also recalls the great names of funk and gospel from Stevie Wonder to Aretha Franklin. Formerly the singer in the Quantic Soul Orchestra, she's now an even more exuberant solo artist! After last year's indoor concert, the Festival spoils us with a free outdoor show!

Johanne Bougie

When an artist comes back to the Festival for the second year in a row, it's always a good sign! Funky-soul, and very British, my dear!

The British soul revival is not only driven by Amy Winehouse! Alice Russell probably has the grittiest voice right now for a white female vocalist. She delivers some irresistible swing, too.
