Joe Cocker

His irresistible rock-soul sound is one of a kind, his raw, gravelly voice one in a million. Each and every Joe Cocker song has the power, depth and oomph to shake you to your foundations. From Mad Dogs & Englishmen in 1970 to Hymn For My Soul, his latest in 2007, from the raging cover of The Letter to the transporting Up Where We Belong, from Woodstock '69 to the 30th anniversary of the Festival International de Jazz Montréal, from your ears straight to your heart, ladies and gentlemen-it's Joe Cocker!

Ron Enros
from Chateauguay will attend this concert:

Joe Cocker is the finest rock vocalist ever produced! His roots go back to the beginnings of the British blues rock movement, having toured with the Hollies and the Rolling Stones as an opening act during the early 60s. His first three albums are classics and Mad Dogs and Englishmen is one of my top ten favorite albums of all time. Cocker has survived changing musical styles over nearly five decades due to the quality of his interpretations, his exceptional voice and simply because he is that good!
