Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring Wynton Marsalis with Chano Dominguez and his quartet

Opening Concert

Legendary American trumpeter Wynton Marsalis has an apparently inexhaustible well of ideas. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, one of the most accomplished Big Bands in jazz history, is overflowing with talent. Spanish pianist Chano Dominguez created a musical bridge between contemporary jazz and flamenco. Why not combine all three in an inspired fusion of jazz, swing, blues and flamenco, presented with customary Festival elegance? A musical delight!
