After sellout shows at the last two editions of the Festival, Montreal guitar ace Jordan Officer, a peerless guitarist with a wholly unique style, first drew notice for his bracingly authentic stylings alongside the divine Susie Arioli. Out on his own, he presents three intimate soirées of blues, jazz and country rhythms, invoking the atmosphere of a New York lounge from the '50s. Fronting a trio, Mr. Officer presents songs from his debut album, to be released next autumn.
