After a number of notable appearances, paired with Toots Thielemans or with his own trio, American pianist Kenny Werner returns to Montreal to celebrate the Festival's 30th anniversary, offering jazz rich in finesse and elegance. The masterful pianist, composer and guru brings a quintet of exceptional players—Antonio Sanchez (drums), David Sanchez (saxophone), Scott Colley (double bass) and Randy Brecker (trumpet)—and a show conceived especially for our summer.
