The next five years were spent overseas, and later he recorded and performed with Miroslav Vitous, one of the great masters of the double bass. Quartet, duo, and now in a quintet: one of Quebec's most important ambassadors on the international jazz scene, Jean Vanasse pursues his explorations of contemporary music in the company of :
Tim Brady (guitar)
Pierre Tanguay (drums)
Frédéric Alarie (double bass)

Together, they present melodic and harmonic linds that command the respect of all those who land an ear.
