Janis Steprans Quartet

Janis Steprans is one of Montreal's gifts to jazz. Inventive, an expert on the alto as well as the tenor sax, he's particularly partial to hard bop, and indulges himself by playing with the best names in jazz, both local and international. His most recent album, Second Set, puts his talent side by side with that of pianist Geoff Lapp, bassist Daniel Lessard and drummer Andre White.
