Bill Bruford's Earthworks

Bill Bruford's Earthworks

Perfect mastery, original jazz fusion, catchy melodies, accuracy and precision: those were the impressions left by Earthworks and leader Bill Bruford during two previous visits to Montreal. The drummer is certainly a popular figure: during a career that has spanned more than 20 years, he has brought crowds to their feet all over the world, giving the beat to legendary groups like Yes and King Crimson. In the 80s, the emergence of new technology, a passion for jazz and a fascination for synthesizers have transformed Bill Bruford's work, taking him to new summits and confirming his astonishing versatility. Four years of acclaimed production, three major recordings and long hours of experimentation have bestowed on Earthworks a unique personal sound that we'll be privileged to hear this summer.
