Saxophonist Bob Mover, the youngest member of the quartet, has recorded four albums white working with Chet Baker on a regular basis. Walter Davis Jr has been perpetuating with enthusiasm the piano bop tradition for 40 years, and has collaborated, among others, with the likes of Charlie Parker, Art Blakey, Sonny Rollins and even the Rolling Stones! Richard Davis, the group's oldest member, has considerably influenced the evolution of modern bass playing, and has performed alongside most of the great exponents of jazz. The versatile Freddie Waits brings a richness of nuance to his drum playing. He also masters a wide variety of percussion instruments, as evidenced notably with Max Roach's M'Boom Re. A very promising quartet!
