Established in 1959 by Art Fariner and Benny Golson, the shortlived Jazztet separated after three years, each of its musicians having decided to pursue individual careers. The group was reunited in the early Eighties by three of the original Jazztet members (Fariner, Golson, and Curtis Fuller). Inspired improvisers, these seasoned musicians present a varied repertory featuring Benny Golson arrangements.
