Gil Evans Orchestra

At over 70 years old, Gil Evans remains without a doubt one of the most talented American musicians. As pianist, composer, arranger and conductor, Gil Evans, truly a pioneer of Jazz is the author of music in constant evolution. Blessed with an important intellectual curiosity, he has adapted his creative processes and personal harmonie vocabulary to each stage of the evolution of Jazz. His career is strewn with collaborations with several generations of important musicians, including his contributions to the recordings of his good friend, Miles Davis, for whom he produced his best arrangements.
