The "Grands Concerts Air Canada" Series will open with a more than enriching reunion: Uzeb, the most celebrated Québécois Jazz group, their special guest, violinist Didier Lockwood and the Orchestre National de Jazz de France, what a line-up! Like a bridge between local and French Jazz this event will give us the opportunity of discovering a great eclectic orchestra devoted to performing important works in the repertory, as well as to the creation of contemporary compositions. Uzeb and Didier Lockwood, who have already given us an extraordinary recording produced at the Paris Olympia, and the Orchestre National de Jazz de France, in a concert which promises to be one of the principal events of the Festival.
