Didier Lockwood / Christian Escoudé

Opening act: String Connection

Didier Lockwood has electri­fied audiences throughout the world with his masterful control of the violin. As he followed Stéphane Grappelli and Jean-Luc Ponty, itseems that the violin is a specialty of the French.

Atter a triumphant European tour with John McLaughlin, Christian Escoudé teamed up with Didier Lockwood to offer a new and incisive sound.

String Connection is a Polish quintet with a very modern sound. Krzesimir Debski (violin), Janusz Skowron (piano), Kszysztof Scieranski (bass), Zbigniew Lewandowski (drums), Andrej Olejniczak (tenor and soprano sax).
