Opening act: Johanne Desforges
A Polish quintet with a very modern sound. Krzesimir Debski (violin), Janusz Skowron (piano), Kszysztof Scieranski (bass), Zbigniew Lewandowski (drums), Andrej Olejniczak (tenor and soprano sax).

Having conquered the Mont­réal public, Johanne Des forges was off to Europe to try out her considérable talent on its various au­diences. In a recent issue, the French magazine "Jazz Hot" waxed eloquent on the great variety of the repertory offered by Johanne Des Forges. She will present an all-new show to the Festival audience.
