Buddy Guy / Susan Tedeschi

It's a guitar-iffic blues double bill! On one hand, the legendary Buddy Guy-a Festival regular, and always a fan favourite!-whose high-voltage guitar and unique voice took him to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On the other, Susan Tedeschi, with a voice that recalls Janis and Bonnie Raitt and songs from Back to the River, released in November. If you're a blues-guitar die-hard, you'll be in heaven this summer!

Ron Enros
from Chateauguay will attend this concert:

What can you say about Buddy Guy? A veteran bluesman, who accompanied some of the greats of the blues, including Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson and Junior Wells. He was a huge influence on Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn and I guess that you can say that he was important in giving birth to the electric blues. He has just gotten better with time - an incredible voice, unbelievable technique, an ability to make his guitar speak, and a highly entertaining performer. And all while respecting the tradition and the intent of the blues. It just doesn't get any better than Buddy Guy.
