Versatile and daring, French clarinettist Denis Colin is afraid of nothing. With band mates Didier Petit (cellist), Pablo Cueco (percussion) and American singer Gwen Matthews — who already collaborated on Something in Common in 2002 — he has now chosen from Nina Simone, Neil Young, Curtis Mayfield, Jimi Hendrix, Can and Art Ensemble of Chicago. Pieces and genres that the trio has made their own with the album Songs for Swans, where total freedom of expression creates incredible cohesiveness.
