Joshua Redman’s virtuosity on the saxophone brings further honour to the surname he inherited from his famous father, the great Dewey Redman. Returning to Montreal after a three-year absence, Joshua Redman is one of the most charismatic musicians to appear on the jazz scene in the ‘90s, whether performing solo or as a bandleader in the exalted company of Metheny, Haden, Mehldau and Brubeck. He will perform with his trio some of his newest compositions, which will be released on his upcoming album, due in spring 2007.
