No Name Jazz Sextet was fast to make a name for itself! It all happened in 2003, with the release of its eponymous album, a hard groovy bopper that struck from the skies like a lightning bolt in the midst of the local jazz scene, followed by high-energy performances for two years at the Festival. Alexandre Côté (alto sax), Roberto Murray (tenor sax), Aron Doyle (trumpet), Vincent Réhel (Hammond organ), Frédéric Grenier (bass) and Ugo Di Vito (drums) strike again with their album Plonger, featuring funk and infectious swing. Second lightning strike! Same thunder!
