Peripheral Vision

Founded by a pair of longtime comrades, renowned musicians Don Scott (guitar) and Michael Herring (double bassist), this Toronto jazz quartet is already well-established on the Canadian scene-and making its name internationally. Filled out by saxophonist Trevor Hogg and drummer Nick Fraser, Peripheral Vision bridges tradition and innovation, with deeply felt influences ranging from Charles Mingus to Dave Douglas, including David Binney and Kurt Rosenwinkel. Released in 2011, Spectacle: Live! was ranked in a number of critics' year-end lists.

Nominated for the TD Grand Jazz Award and the Galaxie Rising Star Award.
