Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue - Bootsy Collins

Double bill
This young “supafunkrock” phenom—THE revelation of the New Orleans scene — was a sensation during last year’s Grande Soirée Mardi Gras in Montreal. He’s back to pack the dancefloor with Backatown, a contagious blend of funk, rock, R&B and hip hop, re-booted live with the participation of His Imperial Funk Majesty Bootsy Collins, veteran bass master behind P-Funk and James Brown, who’s just released Tha Funk Capitol of the World. Well, tonight, with a concert like this, the world’s Funk Capital is… Montreal!

Bootsy Collins: THE bassist! He started with J.B.’s, James Brown’s best backup band, and moved on to the Parliament-Funkadelic. Absolutely the king of groove and funk!

I've always loved Booty's antics but am more interested in Trombone Shorty. I'd not heard of him before but the youtube clips of him show that he's an interesting artist. Who else sings and plays trombone?
