A Montrealer born to Belgian and Indian parents, Diane Nalini has talent to burn.
A singer since the tender age of three, she’s developed a unique voice, a singular
musicality, and a repertoire of jazz, funk, blues and gospel, accented with Brazilian
and French song.
Her passion for jazz is accompanied by a love for science, which she teaches—and
the two feed off of one another. Her recent album Songs of Sweet Fire burns
with the immortal themes of Shakespeare: love, youth, betrayal, and the fragility
of man; in other words, life itself.
Tickets for this show can be picked up for the modest price of $10, or free
with the purchase of a ticket for concerts by Jesse Cook, John McLaughlin, Colin James, Marcel Khalifé or Tinariwen.
Available at the Métropolis box office only. Quantities are limited.
