Galaxy Rising Star Award
In 2001, Galaxie joined forces with the General Motors Grand Jazz Award (since then renamed TD Grand Jazz Award) to reward the best in music composition. Galaxie awarded $3,000 grants until 2004 and, in 2005, increased the amount to $5,000.
