For 30 years, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal has hosted an impressive array of musicians from all horizons – seasoned jazz players, well known DJs, impassioned bluesmen and high-spirited rockers.

Some have left an indelible mark on the Festival. They’re the men and women who’ve helped to write key chapters in its history.

Some had already performed in the city prior to accepting our invitation, and they gladly agreed to showcase their talents on the Festival’s stages.

Others still have seen their careers develop in step with the Festival – rising to prominence and earning their place in the music stratosphere little by little.
