Renowned for his deep sense of swing and inspired lyricism, double bassist and composer Adrian Vedady is a vital presence on the jazz scene of his hometown, Montreal. He has played alongside saxophonist Yannick Rieu, pianists Jean Beaudet and Francois Bourassa, and vocalist Jeanne Rochette, to name a few. In addition to being a freelance musician in demand, Vedady also directs his own ensemble. In Three Acts, his first album, was released in 2009.
