Jack de Keyzer launched his professional career in the 1980s. The singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer played with the Bopcats and the Rock Angels before deciding to go solo. Hard Working Man, the versatile musician's first album, came out in 1991, followed by Wild at Heart four years later. Known for his session work with Etta James, Blue Rodeo, Bo Diddley or Duke Robillard, de Keyzer has also founded his own record label, Blue Star. The recipient of many Maple Blues Awards, he clinched the JUNO for Blues Album of the Year in 2003 with 6 String Lover, and in 2010 with The Corktown Sessions. Three years earlier, his composition That's the Only Time had won him the top prize at the International Songwriting Competition.
