At age 16, Steve Strongman began his professional career. The guitarist performed in nightclubs throughout southern Ontario before hitting the tour circuit south of the border. After a stint playing with Canadian singer Tal Bachman, Strongman devoted himself to his own rock band, Plasticine, which gained considerable success. In 2007, he returned to the blues, releasing the album Honey, which includes nine original compositions. In 2008, Strongman opened for the great Buddy Guy on his Canadian tour, and appeared at several music festivals that summer. In 2009, he released Blues in Color. Its follow-up, A Natural Fact, won the 2013 Juno for Blues Album of the Year!
