After earning his Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto, Canadian drummer and composer Kevin Brow acquired an advanced post graduate diploma from The Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, where he has lived since 2007. He is the nucleus of the band Koptor, around which a number of accomplished Danish, American and Canadian musicians rotate. Koptor has released two albums on the Spanish label Fresh Sound New Talent: a self-titled debut disc (2008) and Fire Sink (2011). The band's name represents the cities where Brow has lived during the five most significant years in his musical development: Toronto, Copenhagen and New York.
