A founding member of the thrash metal group Anonymous, guitarist and singer Marco Calliari recorded four albums with the Montreal band between 1989 and 2002. The following year, the singer-songwriter released the solo album Che la vita, drawing on his Italian roots. In 2004, while taking part in the L'Académie du massacre tour along with Anonymous and Mononc' Serge, Calliari also created Rital Fest. Two years later, he went one step further with Mia dolce vita, an album composed of standards and contemporary songs from the Italian repertoire. From 2007 to 2009, he teamed up with Yves Lambert to present a show for the holiday season. In 2010, he released the disc Al faro est.
