During the early years of his musical education, Theophilus London, who is originally from Brooklyn, studied the techniques of hip-hop, post-punk, industrial and electronic music as well as a number of disciplines not directly related to music. With this multidisciplinary background, London stands out in the rap universe for his "underground" approach. In 2007 he drew attention with two mixtapes, followed by the album This Charming Man, released two years later. He freely crosses musical boundaries, mixing pop, house, electro and hip-hop in order to democratize a new school tendency, in the style of Kanye West, Kid Kudi, Andre 3000 and others. A maxi entitled Lovers Holiday was released in 2011.
