The Legendary Tigerman is the solo project of Paulo Furtado, singer and guitarist with the rock group Wraygunn. In the early 2000s, the Portuguese multi-instrumentalist decided to go solo, portraying an androgynous persona inspired by the glam rock aesthetic. In 2001, he made the album Naked Blues. On stage, the artist is a one-man band, playing guitars, percussion and other instruments to deliver a sound that is close to blues and rock. In 2003, The Tigerman released Fuck Christmas, I Got the Blues, followed three years later by Masquerade. In 2010, The Legendary Tigerman made Femina, a disc featuring a number of female voices, such as Asia Argento, Maria de Medeiros, Peaches, Cibelle and Lisa Kekaula, from the group The Bellrays.
