Originally from London, England, Laurence Juber studied classical guitar at university. After performing as soloist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, he worked as a studio musician. From 1978 to 1980, he played lead guitar with Paul McCartney's group, Wings. Juber then moved to the United States, where he worked primarily in television and film. In 1990, the guitarist released the first in a series of solo recordings. During this period, he established himself as one of the masters of fingerstyle. Since the beginning of the new millennium, Juber has been playing concerts non-stop and taken on a number of commissions (including OST for the Diablo III video game), while still finding time to record his own music. Wooden Horses, an album of original compositions, was released in 2009.
