After an inspiring trip to the Southern states of the USA, Levasseur followed with the blues-inspired soul album Low Fidelity in 2008, with the help of guitarist/producer David Baxter. At ease on most instruments, including the accordion, the mandolin and the piano, the young soul singer won CBC Radio's "Ultimate Sideman Showdown" in 2008.
