Naïve New Beaters

Origin: France

Genres: Electronica, Pop

French trio Naïve New Beaters blend humour with a solid mix of electro, rock and rap, thanks to its members' eclectic musical tastes: vocalist and American-born Dave Boring (vocals), Martin Luther BB King (guitars) and Eurobelix (drums). Formed in 2006, NNBS gained a quick reputation in France for their humorous and energetic live shows, first getting noticed by participating in a weekly contest held by legendary French magazine Les Inrockuptibles. The following year, the trio dropped two first EPs on an unsuspecting French public, namely Live Good, which garnered popularity thanks to its prominent use in a cell phone ad. After a tour of France with The Kills in 2008 and a few more singles, Naïve New Beaters issued their first album Wallace in 2009, to world acclaim.
