Formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2003, disco-punk trio WhoMadeWho are bassist Tomas Hoffding, singer/songwriter, guitarist Jeppe Kjellbert and drummer Tomas Barford, all three members hailing from very diverse musical backgrounds (indie rock, avant-garde jazz and electronica). The group released various 12-inch dance singles before issuing their self-titled debut album in 2005, followed by a year of extensive touring, and the release of Green Versions, a second album featuring acoustic versions of WhoMadeWho. The band returned in full form two years later with the single TV Friend, a heavily remixed track, most notably by Hot Chip. The single led to the release of the long-awaited third album, The Plot, in 2009.
