Born out of Montréal's bubbling indie scene in 2005, energetic quartet Think About Life have been garnering worldwide attention as the ultimate party band since the release of their 2006 eponymous self-debut, with their eclectic, experimental and melodic mix of varied musical styles such as Brazilian Tropicalia, electro, synth pop, rap and indie rock. With a few personnel changes along the way, the band has brought their unique blend of catchy pop to Japan, Canada and the UK, touring with such big acts as Franz Ferdinand and You Say Party! We Say Die! Led by Graham Van Pelt, also of budding Montréal act Miracle Fortress, their 2009 sophomore release, Family, garnered international praise and made the rounds of end-of-year "Best of" critics lists everywhere.
