The Aggrolites

Origin: United States

Genres: Reggae, Rock

With their unique blend of authentic 1960s Jamaican ska and reggae with soul-infused punk and rock influences, The Aggrolites are one of the finest reggae bands in North America. Formed in the early 2000s in Los Angeles with the merging of two local ska/reggae groups, the band's raw energy quickly got noticed, and soon enough the group was asked to perform as backup band for such reggae legends as Prince Buster, Derrick Morgan and Phyllis Dillon. Led by Brian Dixon on guitar and Jesse Wagner on vocals, the group has toured extensively to much acclaim since their 2003 debut Dirty Reggae. Their albums continuously garner praise from critics, the public and the reggae community alike and in 2009, they released their long-awaited fourth album, IV.
