The National Parcs

Origin: Quebec, Canada

Genres: Electronica, Hip-hop

Musicians Vincent Letellier and Chimwemwe Miller, along with videographer Ian Cameron, a trio of nature lovers from Quebec, Malawi and British Columbia, respectively, joined creative forces in 2001 and formed The National Parcs a few years later. For their first album, Timbervision, the group retreated into the woods to record natural sights and sounds such as wood splitting and water dripping. Adding elements of hip-hop, gospel and a jolt of electro to the overall eco sensibility, the trio creates a distinctly home grown audio/visual package that's gaining international recognition.
