Colin Perry

Origin: United States

Main instrument: Acoustic guitar/electric guitar

Genres: Blues, Folk/Country, Jazz

Hailing from Kentucky, guitarist and singer Colin Perry is interested in the rich musical traditions of blues, bluegrass and jazz. After moving to Montreal, he collaborated with numerous musicians, including vocalist Susies Arioli. The musician also heads the "hot jazz" ensemble Houserent Serenaders, which includes Ben Caissie (drums), Bernadette Fortin (violin), Matthieu Bélanger (clarinet), Jean Sabourin (sousaphone) and Roger Walls (trumpet). The band enthusiastically and thoroughly revisits this 1920s musical genre.
