Chin Chin

Origin: United States

Genres: Electronica, R&B/Soul/Funk

Critic's darling and dancer's friend, Chin Chin keeps the spirits high with bubbly disco beats married with powerful grooves. The band was formed in 2001 by the Schwartz brothers, drummer Torbitt and keyboardist Wilder Zoby, along with guitarist Jeremy Wilms. They have since shared the stage with TV On The Radio, Sufjan Stevens and Lily Allen. As a live act, Chin Chin often expands to a ten-piece ensemble, drawing in some of New York's most illustrious indie musicians. In either incarnation, it remains "as tight as your boss with a raise," according to Time Out New York. The band released its self-titled official first album in 2008.
