Chad Linsley

Origin: Saskatchewan, Canada

Main instrument: Piano

Genre: Jazz

Inspired by a collection of old vinyl recordings of jazz legends, Chad Linsley started to play the piano at three years old. By age 16, he released his first CD with Regina-based group The Jazz Ambassadors. In 1998, Linsley left behind his native Saskatchewan for Montreal to attend McGill University, where he studied piano, as well as played, toured and recorded with the McGill Jazz Orchestra. Since then, Linsley has toured internationally and accompanied Juno award-winning drummer Jim Hillman and bassist Brian Hurley. His debut album, Slideshow, was released in 2008.
