Hilary Kole seems to have everything going for her-startling beauty, a superb voice, grace, elegance and enormous talent. For a brief moment, she was the best-kept secret on the New York jazz scene, but it wasn't long before she gained recognition, most notably from dearly departed Oscar Peterson. She has many other illustrious admirers including Hank Jones, Michel Legrand, Russell Malone, and John Pizzarelli, who provided guitar accompaniment on her first album, Haunted Heart, released in 2009. Kole's second effort, You Are There, followed in 2010.
